As legislated by virtue of the Laws of Belize, the Board Members constitute the body elected to manage the business of the Agency, including responsibility for the policy and general administration of the affairs of the Agency.
Within the Border Management Agency Act, Chapter 144 of the Laws of Belize Revised Edition 2000, the Board is a selected group appointed by the Minister of Tourism, with the mandate to manage the business of the Agency, subject to the provisions of this Act, including responsibility for the policy and general administration of the affairs of the Agency.
